Tour of Homes 2010 The 2010 Tour of Homes borrows our theme from the newly installed banners hanging throughout our Historic District. And an appropriate theme it is, as we celebrate our historic homes and neighborhood, while also celebrating the work that has been done these last 20+ years to bring them back to life. This year, we have five wonderful homes on the Tour, all rich with character and charm. As an added bonus, new this year is a tour within the tour. Titled "Broadway Boulevards - Adam Street 1000". Stroll up and down the 1000 Block of what is now 21st Street, and learn about every home on the block -about their history and architectural features - by reading placards that will be placed in front of every home on the block. So come on out May 16th to the Broadway Historic District. Five homes, and Broadway Boulevards, all for one low ticket price! Plus food and refreshments at Broadway Presbyterian Church! Now that sounds like a great value! Click here to download a pdf of the 2010 tour Booklet.

This year's Tour is back to one day only, Sunday, May 16th. Hours are from 11-5. Tickets are $10 for adults, children 12 and under are free. As in year's past, there will be a food tent at Broadway Presbyterian Church. Tickets may be purchased at any of the homes on the tour on the day of the tour, or NEW THIS YEAR, you may purchase in advance using PayPal. Simply Click on the Button below to continue with your advance purchase. Print out your receipt and bring it with you the day of the tour. You can exchange it for your ticket at any stop on the tour. Or if you forget to bring your receipt, we will have a master list to verify your paypal purchase at every home to make sure you get your ticket. It's that simple. For over 20 Years, Broadway has sponsored the Tour of Homes. The event is our major fundraiser for the year, but maybe more importantly, is our chance to show off our wonderful neighborhood, and educate the public about Broadway and Historic Preservation in Rock Island. Keep checking back to the Broadway Historic District website and this page for updates as the Tour of Homes approaches. Come out and see how we continue to Improve Upon the Past!
