For those of us already living in Broadway, we know the many benefits of our wonderful historic district.  Of course it all starts with our beautiful historic homes, and the sense of neighborhood you get by working together.  Now we even have our own community garden!  But now you can add one more reason - walkability.  An organization called WalkScore rates neighborhoods on their walkability, which sounds just like what it means. 

 

Your proximity to schools, parks, grocery stores, and other essential services means you are more walkable.  There are numerous benefits to living in a walkable neighborhood, primarily being able to get around without a vehicle.
