The Great Unveiling is a term and a program that originated in the Broadway Historic District, which has garnered national recognition and spread to other historic communities throughout the country. Unveilings are similar to old fashioned barn raisings, bringing the entire community together to rip vinyl and aluminum siding from homes to restore the original character and architectural details. In exchange for free labor from the neighborhood, homeowners are obligated to complete the finishing work (repairs, painting, etc). Enjoy pictures from some of our success stories in the galleries below. If you live in Broadway or a nearby neighborhood in Rock Island and would like to host an unveiling, please read our contract and contact us!
